The Arcadians present ‘Rent’
The Arcadians move stateside as they present Jonathan Larson’s iconic rock musical, ‘Rent’.
Based on a modernised version of Puccini’s La Bohème, and set in 1990s New York, Rent follows a year in the life of a group of struggling young artists and musicians seeking love and fulfilment amidst poverty and illness. With an energetic, and often moving, score (featuring the songs ‘Seasons of Love’, ‘Out Tonight’ and ‘Without You’ among many others) it brings a message of love, hope and living for the moment.
